Lacuna (2016) is a project started during the workshop with Stefano Graziani held for the IUAV Photography Master. The subject of the Workshop was a reinterpretation of the classic image / imagery of the city of Venice. Starting from the assumption that Venice is one of the most photographed cities in history, I preferred to deny its classic vision and focus my gaze on small details and on the lagoon. The choice of working in analogue is conceptually reinforced by the involvement of liquids in the film development process. The water and transparency of part of the papers that make up the final fanzine become a metaphor for the creative process.
